Seldom do Filipino folklores get featured in foreign television or movies. The Grimm’s “Mommy Dearest” episode storyline involved the Filipino legend of the Aswang, a terrifying creature that uses its long, dark tongue to suck the blood from unborn babies.
It is truly gratifying to see a fellow Filipino shine in a famous TV show, more so featuring a Filipino folklore.
