I receive some news that some of my former colleagues were made redundant a few days ago for reasons of economic downturn.
There is no argument on that, most people are aware that the world economy is still on the downside. On the contrary, why is it that among more than a dozen employees in the Electrical & Instrument section, only the three Filipinos were made redundant.
Is there any racial discrimination in the selection of those who will be made redundant? I don't know, but since only the Filipino employees were affected, I can't help but think that way.
